First two weeks of teaching practice (15/07/2025 - 26/07/2025)

 As part of B.Ed. curriculum, the phase 1 of teaching practice started on 15/07/2025. we four students from Mathematics, Physics Science, Social Science and Natural Science opted C.F.H.S Kottiyam for our teaching practice. On the first day we reported at the correct time in school at 9.15 am.

As it was my first day, I feel both excited and slightly anxious about the day ahead. First, we met the principal of the school, the I signed the register and headed straight to the place allotted. I met my concerned sir Suresh Sir, and I collected timetable from him. 

                             I was not assigned any class on the first day. And on that day, itself the school authorities took children from the school to nearby Sree Narayana Polytechnic College to participate in the science exhibition. We also went with the students.   

                              

We also participated in noon feeding duty.

On the third day I was to take the chapter "Elements and Compounds" on 8B, on the fourth period. I started the topic with some video presentation. Those videos were very effective for them to understand. Apart from the videos I also prepared power point and lesson plan for this class.

On the second week I started my classes in 9B. I took the chapter "Equations of Motion". for the class I used power points, activity card and chart. student's responses make me more energetic to lead the classes.

   However, it was about the two weeks, and I am so excited to see what is going to happen on the next days.
